My name is Caitlin Jeffas. I am a Digital Arts teacher at an upper elementary school in Rutherford, NJ. I have also been a third grade teacher at an elementary school in Clifton, NJ. I have been teaching for ten years. It is an extremely rewarding job when you watch children learn and grow through their many achievements. I received my Masters of Educational Technology student at Ramapo College of New Jersey and my Bachelor’s Degree in Family and Child Studies with a Concentration in Elementary Education from Montclair State University. I am working on learning better ways to incorporate the use of technology in the classroom to enhance my teaching and the learning of all of my students.
In my spare time, I enjoy playing volleyball, bowling, running, and taking pictures. I also enjoy volunteering my time to be a clown in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade every November. I have marched in every Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade since 2001.
